Thank you for this link.I spent some time this eveing reading some of the material and like the other web site it is a great source of inforamtion.
I read the correspondances between Harmon Buckley,his wife and family and felt priviliged to be allowed to share their thoughts and emotions as he left his home to go overseas to fight in Sicily and Italy.
I was saddened to read that he was killed in action as well as the fact that he left as son behind he unfortunately never got to see.
However what I think is very good about all of this is that a soldier like Harmon Buckley who died in 1943 is now commemorated by all those who read his letters and look at his and his families pictures.
